"I was looking at how many classes I have to take next semester, and it's really too many. So I could take some during the summer and graduate in August."

"We have the house till the end of July..."

"So we'd just have to work out a few weeks..."
"I'm sure I could stay with someone in Denton."

"Okay then. Can I call you later?"

"Yeah, and also I have a midterm today and I couldn't sleep most of the night, so I don't know how I'm going to do on it."

"Why couldn't you sleep?"

"I just couldn't sleep."

"Well, do your best."

"Are you going to take it?"

"What's the point?"

"Well, can you get any sleep between now and your class?"

"That doesn't matter. One hour of sleep is not going to make a difference."

"Because if you're always crying and not doing your school then you need to move home, get a job... go to counseling."

The suggestion of it one time actually produced a conflict in me watching The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and The Royal Tenenbaums, but I've decided now: Wes Anderson movies are not racist.

Methods

Participants were college students from Texas Woman’s University. There were 198 total participants, with 168 females, 29 males, and one participant who did not specify his or her gender. The mean age was 22.91, with a standard deviation of BLAH. Participants were chosen randomly from various locations across the TWU campus. They filled out a packaged survey which covered three constructs in three different sections: level of parental education, academic anxiety, and trait anxiety. For a complete review of the instruments used, the surveys are attached in Appendix A.

Results

All correlation values are recorded in the correlation matrix in Appendix B. The predicted hypothesis, that academic anxiety and level of parental education are correlated, proved incorrect. Academic anxiety and level of parental education had no significant correlation.
